This is how Verka handles your data. Plain language. No legalese where we can avoid it.
Who we are
Verka is an AI-driven marketing platform headquartered in Sweden. We process data on behalf of in-house marketing teams and agencies who use the platform to run marketing operations.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist:
- Email address
- Company name
- Role type (in-house, agency, or other)
- The IP address used to submit the form, hashed for rate-limit purposes only
When you become a customer and use the platform:
- Account information you provide (company details, brand voice, target audience, KPI targets)
- Connected platform data (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Search Console, Analytics) under your authorization via OAuth
- Content generated by AI agents on your behalf, and your approval/rejection decisions
What we use it for
- To contact you about the waitlist and platform availability
- To deliver the platform's core features (analysis, recommendations, content generation, campaign execution)
- To improve agent recommendations based on your past approvals and rejections — your data only, never aggregated across customers
- To prevent abuse (rate limits)
What we do not do
- Sell your data to third parties
- Use your data to train foundation AI models
- Aggregate your data with other customers' for benchmarking without explicit consent
- Send marketing email if you didn't ask for it
Subprocessors
We use the following service providers to run Verka:
- Cloudflare (infrastructure, edge compute)
- Supabase (database, authentication)
- Anthropic (AI models for content and analysis)
- Resend (transactional email)
- Google, Meta, LinkedIn, DataForSEO (only when you connect those platforms)
Data location
Data is stored in EU regions where possible. Some AI processing routes through US-based providers. We do not transfer personal data outside the contexts required for delivering the service.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. Email markus@verka.io.
Retention
Waitlist data: kept until commercial launch plus 12 months, then deleted unless you become a customer.
Customer data: kept for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days post-cancellation, then deleted.
Updates to this policy
If we change something material, you'll know via email. The "last updated" date above will change.
